Abstract
Developing European Work Based Learning Approaches and Methods
10226-CP-1-2003-1-IT-GRUNDTVIG-G1
Descrizione Progetto
Basing upon theoretical clarification of learning through experience and upon an overview in eight EU member States and in Switzerland of the conditions (legal framework, social needs, public and private practice) related to WBL and to the recognition of prior experiential learning in HET, DEWBLAM developed a common European Framework for the introduction of WBL. Pilot projects in WBL were implemented by all partner institutions experiencing the adoption of this educational innovation in different contexts, at different levels and for different target publics. As a result of theoretical elaboration and practical verification in differing national/local contexts, DEWBLAM produced detailed “Guidelines” in 9 EU languages and organized a final international Conference, as an opportunity for dissemination among scientific experts, educational practitioners, stakeholders, policy-makers.
